I made this blog to be a sort of accountability partner for me for my studying of kanji and the Japanese language in general. I've been studying Japanese for a little over 2 years and recently returned from a 2 1/2 month study abroad program in Hitachi, Ibaraki, Japan. I finished what my university offers for Japanese language study, so I am reduced to self study. And I refuse to give up and forget everything I've struggled to learn so far.
To that purpose, I recently bought 2 books on kanji and 1 book on Japanese verbs. When I have a bit of money I plan to buy Heisigs Remembering the Kanji books, which I have heard do wonders for, well, remembering the kanji. I'll be posting on here somewhat frequently about my methods for learning kanji and Japanese in general, interesting vocab and kanji that I learn, and maybe just random interesting things that come to mind.
